Annual Membership Meeting Two board members will be elected at this meeting as well as approve the revised bylaws. As a reminder, if you have not already renewed your membership for 2012, there are Membership Renewal Cards on the table at the back of the sanctuary or you can either call Luis in the office at 578-5433 or e-mail him at unityofmodesto@sbcglobal.net to let him know that you want your membership renewed. This procedure will allow you to vote at the annual membership meetings. |

Zen Practice Retreat This is a class on Zen and will include Mindfulness and Stress Reduction. To be held in our church sanctuary. There will be sitting meditation, stretching, walking meditation, reading and class discussion. Each participant is to bring in one vegetarian dish to be shared with the other participants. The book requirement is Miracle of Mindfulness by Thick Nhat Hanh and can be purchased in the church bookstore.
