A Unity Community Success
Unity of Modesto joyfully completed our Duffle Bags of Love outreach project — and what a blessing it has been. Thanks to the generosity of our Unity community and the helping hands of local volunteers, we assembled 52 duffle bags filled with homemade quilts and comfort blankets, toys, crayons and paper, fidget items, and personal hygiene essentials.
These bags will soon be on their way to children in foster care, offering each child a tangible reminder that they are loved, valued, and not alone. Your giving spirit extended far beyond our walls and into the lives of young people who need encouragement and comfort.
Thank you for being a community where love becomes action and compassion becomes impact.

Unity Church of Modesto is a prayer based spiritual community that honors the many paths to God and helps people of all faiths apply positive spiritual principles in their daily lives.
We welcome people of all faiths, sexual orientations, ethnic heritage, ages, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Our main textbook is the Bible and our Sunday lesson relates religion to daily needs affirming that for every need there is God's perfect answer in your life through everyday experiences.

Five Basic Unity Principles

There is only one Presence and one Power active in the universe and in my life, God the Good. |

Our essence is of God; therefore, we are inherently good. This God essence, called the Christ, was fully expressed in Jesus. |

We are co-creators with God, creating reality through thoughts held in mind. |

Through Prayer and Meditation, we align our heart-mind with God. Denials and affirmations are tools we use. |

Through thoughts, words, and actions we live the truth we know. |
